Rachel A. Bolton is a multimedia artist originally from the West Coast of Scotland but is currently in her fourth year of an honours degree in photography at Edinburgh Napier University.

Her work primarily focuses on documentary topics, often within the healthcare sector as it is a topic Rachel is hugely passionate about. Through the themes of body image and chronic illness, her current 4th year project looks at an alternative view on female body image and what that means outside of a purely aesthetic realm.

One of Rachel’s main passions is creating work that matters, no matter the discipline it falls into. She believes that creativity is all about finding the method that is correct for the work, so you can often find her work venturing into the world of video, audio, writing or art.
